Start off the New Year early with a bit of fun...
This morning I had another fun experience, something I’ve heard once before and thoroughly enjoyed. For those of you who haven’t quite figured out that God does enjoy our company and doesn’t have the negative state of mind that most people do, this is for you!
It was for me, too, because I felt beat up and just plain tired today, so I decided to review some of the cool things that He’s said to me over the years once again. I also reflected upon what He’s shown me from 2011 through 2017. Serious stuff, but it will also be a time of tremendous opportunity. More later, as I continue my Sarah Series and The Last Stand right here on Amy’s Web.
Anyway, I’m rambling so back to my point. I said, “What’s up today, Lord? What do you want to say to me?” I never know what to expect from God, He’s just so much fun. Even with the serious stuff, I never feel burdened.
This is what I heard, music and all:
“I love, I love, I love my Calendar Girls”.
Needless to say, I laughed. Hard. In fact, He often reminds me to ‘play’ with Him by singing to me songs such as “London Bridge is falling down, falling down, falling down, my fair lady!” I confess that initially I tried to spiritualize it all but finally got the message. think I'm crazy? He's waiting for you to do the same.
Most important of all, He loves YOU every day of the year!
