"On the Street Where You Live", the song that Freddie sings in the pictured scene, went around in my head for days.
I felt it was a reminder and a call from the Lord to not only wander on His
street with my heart full of love but to knock fervently on the door and enter
in.
Freddie wandered near Eliza's house at night, hoping to see her or just get a glimpse, when he should have knocked fervently on the door. Although they became good friends, she gave her heart to the professor in the end.
While this isn't an exact parallel of our love relationship
with Jesus, I must ask one question:
Are you wandering around where He is but not going
deeper and higher?
Instead of just hoping that He might show at the window, be
more aggressive and go after Him with all of your heart and mind. He's calling
you today to an intimate relationship. So seek, ask and knock; He will throw the doors open wide. No more
hopeful wandering around for you but a warm welcome and loving embrace! It's
your destiny. Blessings to all!
