SPRING INTO REVIVAL! The Turtledove is in the Land

Late this morning I walked into my bedroom and saw a mourning dove sitting on my windowsill. At first, it didn't move and neither did I, in spite of the fact I so-o-o desperately wanted to take a picture. I sat slowly down on the bed and watched it move around before it stared me directly in the eye and flew off.

Little Things
For the past few weeks, I've heard what I thought was an owl hooting, and since we live in the country this came as no surprise. What I've actually heard is the cooing of doves from afar. I read in an article online that doves can be mistaken for hoot owls. Though they are a common game bird, we rarely see them here on our property. I believe that the presence of the dove is a sign. Even as I type this I smell a heavy perfume, like myrrh or frankincense, and nothing is blooming yet outside! Ooo...there it is again.

I get so excited about the little things that God does in my life, the simple things demonstrating that He is with me and speaking all the time. Yes, one could say, "Well, it's spring and the birds have returned to Western PA."

The Turtledove is in the Land!
For my own part, I see the dove's presence on my windowsill as a sign that the turtledove is in the land. Read Song of Solomon 2:10-14.

There's a fresh breath in the land, and I've heard others saying the same thing all over the region. We're definitely in a new season, one of Revival. I can actually smell it!
Can you?

This is such an important time in our state and in our nation. I've posted in the recent past that November 2011 through November 2012 is crucial and it's more than just about elections. See, Hear, use your five senses to know what the Holy Spirit is saying and be encouraged, the turtledove is in the land, and the flowers have hardly even begun to bloom.

Listen for the cooing of His voice today. He wants to speak to you more desperately than you know or have ever imagined.
Blessings today, Everyone!

  1. Since this last post, I've had 2 more encounters, I feel like I'm being 'followed, it's good. there is so much happening in the heavens that I can't seem to write it all down any more. with one breath I have to say that God is so good and difficult times are coming! 2 years from November; we're in the midst of the shift and it's up to us as a people. See more in the Manasseh Generation and We the People this week.
